Terms and Conditions for Nigeria Grant Federation (NGF) Grant Application
By applying for a grant through the Nigeria Grant Federation (NGF), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before submitting your application.
1. Eligibility
To be eligible for a grant, applicants must meet the criteria set by NGF for each specific funding program. These criteria may vary depending on the type of grant being offered, the purpose of the funding, and the region in which the applicant resides. The decision on eligibility is at the sole discretion of NGF and its review committees.
2. Grant Approval and Disbursement
NGF strives to support as many applicants as possible, but not all applicants will be awarded a grant. The selection process is competitive, and grants will be awarded based on the quality of the application, the alignment of the proposal with NGF’s objectives, and the available funding. The decision of NGF regarding grant disbursement is final and binding.
3. Information and Data Submission
By submitting your application, you acknowledge and agree that all information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You further authorize NGF to use the submitted information for the purposes of evaluating your application, processing the grant request, and complying with any legal or regulatory requirements.
- Authorization: You grant NGF full permission to verify any details provided in your application, including personal, financial, and organizational information.
- Consequences of Misrepresentation: Any false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in the disqualification of your application, even if you have already been selected for a grant.
4. No Guarantee of Funding
The submission of an application does not guarantee the receipt of a grant. NGF is not obligated to provide grants to every eligible applicant, and the number of available grants may be limited based on the total funding available at the time of the grant cycle. All funding decisions are at the discretion of NGF.
5. Applicant’s Responsibility
Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all required documents and information are submitted accurately and within the designated application period. NGF is not liable for any delays or errors in the submission process caused by technical issues, incomplete applications, or failure to meet the specified deadlines.
6. Use of Funds
Grant funds must be used solely for the purposes outlined in the approved application. Any misuse of the grant funds or failure to adhere to the terms outlined in the grant agreement may result in the termination of the grant and the requirement to repay the funds. NGF reserves the right to monitor the use of funds and request periodic progress reports from grant recipients.
7. No Liability
By submitting an application, you agree to release and hold harmless NGF, its employees, agents, partners, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising from or in connection with your application, the grant process, or the use of grant funds.
8. Confidentiality
NGF will handle all personal and sensitive information provided by applicants with the highest level of confidentiality. However, by submitting your application, you acknowledge that NGF may need to share certain details with external reviewers or partners for evaluation purposes. This information will be used solely for grant processing and evaluation.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
NGF reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our website, and by continuing to participate in the grant application process, you agree to the updated terms.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting your grant application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree to any of the terms outlined, please refrain from submitting an application.
